Since May 1, 2015, Senegal has removed paid entry visa paid for its national territory. If you are a national of one of the countries listed below, you do not need a visa. However, it is necessary to have a passport and / or an identity card and / or laissez passer issued by this country (these documents must have a validity of a minimum of 6 months).​

African countries : Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Congo (Brazzaville), Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Togo and Tunisia.

European countries : France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, United Kingdom , Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.

Other countries: Canada, China, South Korea, United States of America, Mauritius, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore.

 

What mandatory vaccinations do I need to go to Senegal?

The yellow fever vaccine is mandatory if you have previously traveled to some countries in Africa or South America. In other cases, if it’s not mandatory it is strongly recommended.
