
The iconic event is back! The official 42.195 km track will start and end at Place de la Nation. A tailor-made itinerary to discover the must-see monuments of the city of Dakar, such as the Mosque of the Divinité or the Renaissance Monument.
GENERAL INFORMATIONS
The 2nd edition of the Eiffage Dakar Marathon, as well as the other races (half marathon, 10km and Kids stadium) will take place on April 14, 2019. The marathon event is open to licensed and non-licensed runners born before December 31, 1996. This race is also open to people with reduced mobility.

Bibs numbers
Bibs can be collected at the Village Marathon (Place de la Nation) in downtown Dakar from April 10 to 13, 2019. In the pack you will be given a colored T-shirt that you will have to put on for the race. This is compulsory.

A number of services are set up to ensure the smooth running of races for each runner.
Catering
There will be 12 catering points throughout the marathon’s course.
Another point will be installed at the Place de la Nation (former obelisk place), at the end of the race.
Recovery Zones
There will be a recovery zone, with a team of specialists, on arrival at the Place de la Nation.
Transport
Transportation will be made available by the organization for runners and volunteers wanting to get to the various sites involved in the races. Once the races are over, the shuttles will also carry runners back. For more details on shuttles check the Marathon’s Facebook page.
